30 ตุลาคม 2554...ปีนี้ไม่พลาดฮาโลวีนพาเหรด เพราะ ดร บิ๋มบอกล่วงหน้า 1 วัน ปีที่แล้วพลาดไปเพราะลืม ดังนั้นหลังจาก
หม่ำกลางวันเสร็จ (นาฬิกาบอกเวลา 14.30น) มิสเตอร์พามุ่งหน้ากลับบ้าน แวะคืนดีวีดีก่อน ช่วงสี่แยกเข้าถนนเมน ถนนที่มีพาเหรดปิดการจราจรแล้ว ทำให้รถติดขัดเล็กน้อย ถึงบ้าน 15.30น รีบเข้าไปหยิบกล้องอีกตัว ขับออกมา หวังจะไปเข้าซอยหลังพลาซ่า แต่ซอยปิดเหมือนกัน ทำไงเนี่ย ไม่ทันแน่ๆเลย กลับรถก็ไม่ได้ ขับตามรถคันหน้าไปก่อน ...
มีรถตำรวจจอดอยู่หนึ่งคัน ติดป้ายชี้ไปลานจอดกิจกรรม โชคดีจังมีรถรอเลี้ยวเข้าซอย ขอตามไปด้วยนะ ในใจนีกว่าจะจอดตรงไหนได้เนี่ย มีแต่ลานจอดของมหาวิทยาลัยซึ่งต้องมีป้ายอนุญาต
เมื่อเข้าไป ต้องจอดหลบข้างทางเพราะขบวนฮาโลวีนเดินมา แงๆๆๆ ไม่ทันแน่เลย...
และแล้ว... ขบวนฮาโลวีนหยุด จราจรเปิดทางให้รถออก เลี้ยวฟาบ ตรงหน้าอาคารจอดรถเอกชนพอดี ตัดสินใจเลี้ยวเข้าไป ไม่เคยเข้าจอดเองสักที ต้องกดตู้รับบัตรจอดอัตโนมัติ มือเอื้อมไม่ถึงอีก ต้องถอดเข็มขัด โผล่ออกไปครึ่งตัว วนหาที่จอดสัก 5 นาที ได้ที่จอดล่ะ รีบๆๆๆๆ...
เดินไปถามจุดชำระค่าจอดก่อนว่าจะจ่ายตอนไหน (ปกติจ่ายตอนกลับนั่นล่ะ แต่เพื่อความแน่ใจถามๆๆๆ)
จากนั้น รีบเดินๆๆๆ ออกนอกอาคาร เห็นว่าจุดที่ยืนอยู่เป็นปลายทางพาเหรดพอดีเลย ยืนถ่ายตรงนี้ล่ะ (ตรงทางข้ามถนน) ถ่ายได้สักแป้บ เดินข้ามไปฝั่งโน่นดีกว่า น่าจะได้ภาพดีกว่า เพราะจุดที่ยืน ไกล
ข้ามไป แต่ไม่เดินต่อเพราะขบวนพาเหรดมาเรื่อยๆๆ ยืนถ่ายตรงนี้ล่ะ มีตากล้องยืนอยู่ สองคน เด็กๆๆเยอะมาก แล้วที่ขวาง เข้าไปไม่ได้คือรถตำรวจ ฉะนั้น งานนี้ซูมอย่างเดียว ดีนะที่ติดเลนส์ซูมไว้
30th Oct 2011...After
lunch, we came back home but Mister went to return DVDs at Blockbuster before home so it was 15.30. I needed to run because I did not want to missed " Halloween parade " as same as last year. I forgot it.
When we got home I took my camera and went out so quick. I thought about parking at newark plaza if the road behind the plaza did not close. OMG! I could not turn into to the street to the plaza , " I am going to miss again" I thought. I drove straight and finally turn into the left lane waited for turn follow a car in front of me. In that street the parade end there . The car before me and mine needed to stop gave them the way before the police let us pass through. I decided to turn in a parking building right there . It was pay parking. I thought it better than drove around and missed the parade.
I walked to the cashier asked if I needed to pay now or later...pay later. I walked so quick out of the building and standed beside an electric power pole, started taking photos. Yeah! I did it.
I did not get a good spot so I decided to walked across a block for seeing closer but it was still not good because a police's car parked there. Anyway, I decided to stand right here and took as many photos as I could. There were 2 photographers stood beside a police car. I was lucky that I put a zoom lens on my camera because if a fix lens I would not get any good photos for sure.
