ไปวัดท่าซุงวันสงกรานต์ Tasung Temple with May-Keith in Apirl 2008

สงกรานต์

เมื่อป้าโอ้ทเป็นเด็ก วันสงกรานต์เป็นวันที่สนุกมากๆ ป้าโอ้ทและเพื่อนๆวัยเดียวกันจะกระโดดท้ายรถปิคอัพ มีถังน้ำใบโตบรรจุน้ำจนเต็ม ที่ผู้ใหญ่ในหมู่บ้านจัดเตรียมให้และขับวนรอบ ๆ เมืองพาพวกเราเล่นสาดน้ำ ปะทะกับรถคันอื่นๆ สนุกสุดเหวี่ยง

เมื่อปี 2548-2550...ป้าโอ้ทจะไปเล่นสงกรานต์บ้านเพื่อนย่านสมุทรปราการ ตั้งหลักสาดน้ำกันหน้าบ้าน เพราะบ้านเพื่อนอยู่ติดถนน แม้จะอยู่วัยทำงานแล้วแต่ความสนุกยังคงไม่ลด

และปีสุดท้ายก่อนป้าจะมาอเมริกา 2551...ป้าโอ้ทไม่ได้วางแผนจะไปไหน ไม่ออกนอกบ้านด้วยซ้ำเพราะป้าไม่อยากเปียก จนกระทั่งวันหนึ่งป้าโอ้ทเห็นเพื่อนในเวบ www.usvisa4thai.com "เมย์" ประกาศชวนเพื่อนๆ ไปวัดท่าซุง ป้าโอ้ทไม่เคยไป และไม่มีแผนด้วย ดังนั้นตัดสินใจไปทันที

When I was a child my friends and I went on a pick up truck with a big bucket full of water drove around in the town .

April 2005-2007...In Bangkok,I went to a colleague 's home and played water beside the street..really fun.

April 2008...I did not go anywhere because I do not want to get wet .I have no planned until I saw the post on http://www.usvisa4thai.com . May invited friends to go to the temple with them. Her fiance' "Keith" was coming to Thailand. I went with them.

Ayutthaya

Ayutthaya is not far from where I lived in Bangkok just an hour drive. When I have foriegner friends visited always take them there. This the one history of Thailand.

Greeting!

Sawatdee kha!,  is Thai greeting .It is same as  Hi, Hello, Good morning, Good afternoon and Good evening . We do not have specific word in different time, so just "Sawatdee" in anytime and also for good bye.  I will talk inThai and English because only 2 langueages I speak dairy. I would like to learn other languages too.

There are 2 words show sex of a peron who speak I would like to talk also, both words make the sentences soft and polite.

1. Kha= for women say include girls  for example Sawatdee kha. Kob khun kha ( means Thank you.)

2.Krab =  for men include boys  for example  Sawatdee Krab.  My name is Tom krab.


Body language for Sawatdee is bowing hands and bend your head. There are  3 levels for this issue :

1. Greeting a person or people who older: we will bowing hands at the chest level and bend the  head to touch the big fingers.

2. Greeting a person or people who has same age : we will bowing hands at  the chest level and just move head down little ,not bend head down to touch big fingers.

3. Greeting a person or people  who younger : Thai traditional  younger person/people  give respect / greeting  to a person/people who older first with bowing and older person/people respons as greeting to a person/people who has same age, or just say Sawatdee without bowing.
