โรงเรียนที่เราใช้ห้องเพื่อเรียนภาษาอังกฤษ ปิดเทอมฤดูร้อน พวกเราไม่ได้ปิดด้วย แต่ไม่มีห้องเรียน ก็ได้เวลาทัวร์ตามบ้านทุกคนแล้วซินะ อิ่มด้วย เรียนด้วย

School closed for Summer break that means our ESL group does not have a room. We do not close so time to tour everyone's house. Let's enjoy eating, talking and learning.

ผ้าพันคอโครเชท์แบบง่าย...Scarf simple crochet June 13 2012

ผ้าพันคอผืนนี้รื้อถุงมือยาวที่ได้เป็นของขวัญวันเกิดจาก สอง ดร ใส่แล้วรู้สีกรำคาญ รื้อแล้ว ถักเป็นผ้าพันคอ ทั้งนิตติ้ง ทั้งโครเชท์ รื้อแล้ว ถักใหม่หลายตลบ จนในที่สุดก็สำเร็จอย่างที่เห็น ได้ไหมสีแดง สอดด้วยไหมสีเหลือบเงินต่อสองด้าน ถักโครเชท์ พันหนึ่ง ควัก หลวมๆ ตลอดทั้งผืน พันคอแล้วทั้งนุ่ม ทั้งอุ่น หนาวหน้า มีผ้าพันคอใหม่ สดใสอีกผืนล่ะ

I took apart hands warmer which got from friends as my birthday present last year. I did not like when worn them. I knit and crochet and then took apart many times before I finished as a lovely scarf as here. I did simple crochet just made doble crochet along until finished.

I added a red yarn with sparkling silver yarn in both side of this scarf. It is soft and warm. WoW! I have one more pretty scarf for next winter.

ข้าวเหนียว(ไส้กล้วย) ปิ้ง Stricky rice banana stuff grill June 12 2012

ไปตลาดเห็นใบตอง ดีใจมากเพราะอยู่มาสี่ปีเพิ่งเห็นครั้งแรกที่ตลาดแถวบ้าน (เคยเห็นที่ตลาดเอเชียฟิลาเดลเฟียนานแล้ว) ไม่คิดมากหยิบมาหนึ่งถุง เหรียญกว่าๆๆ ประมาณ 50 บาทไทย หยิบมาทั้งๆที่ยังไม่รู้ว่าจะทำอะไร

หนึ่งสัปดาห์ผ่านไป ใบตองเหลืองเชียว ไม่ได้แล้วซิต้องทำอะไรเสียก่อนที่จะเสียเงินเปล่า จะทำข้าวต้มมัดก็ไม่ค่อยชอบกิน จะทำห่อหมกก็ขี้เกียจเครื่องเยอะ นึ่งก็ไม่สะดวก เคยทำใช้ฟลอยด์ยัดเตาอบง่ายดี งั้นทำอะไรดีน๊า?

ปิ๊ง! ทำข้าวเหนียวปิ้งดีกว่า จัดการเปิดหาวิธีทำในอินเตอร์เนต ไม่ยาก ไม่ง่าย วิธีที่ดูเขาห่อเป็นกรวย แต่โอ้ทห่อไม่เป็น ใบตองไม่สดแล้วด้วย งั้นห่อแบนๆๆก็แล้วกัน ใบตองแตก ห่อสองชั้น เข็มกลัดไม่มี ลวดเย็บกระดาษจัดไป ไส้กล้วยหอมเสียด้วย คงอร่อยมาก (คิดเอง) เสร็จแล้วค่อยเอากระทะไฟฟ้าไปปิ้งหลังบ้านควันจะได้ไม่โขมงจนเครื่องร้องเสียงดังลั่นบ้าน
อ้าว! ฝนตก ออกไปปิ้งไม่ได้ จัดในครัวไปโลด เครื่องดักควันร้องลั่นบ้านดังคาดหมาย

ปิ้งไม่แห้งเท่าที่ควร เพราะเครื่องดักควันร้องๆๆสนั่น ควันโขมง ที่ดูดควันก็เอาไม่อยู่ เปิดประตู หน้าต่างแล้วก็ยังไม่หมด ต้องดับไฟพอล่ะ แต่ก็อร่อยดีนะเนี่ย ปลื้ม ทำได้เหมือนกัน   ดูภาพ click to see photos

I got a pack of banana leaves about a week ,but I did not do anything with it until it was yellow. I knew few things could use banana leaf but I did not good at cooking.

Finally, I decided to made grill sticky rice . It was my first time. I searched the recipe' on internet and started. The recipe' showed the way to wrap sticky rice in triangle  but my banana leaves  were too hard to wrap  that way then I wrapped just what I could as in the photos.

I planned to grill outside, unfortunately it was raining then I grilled in the kitchen. The smoke detector alarm as I thought. Well, my sticky rice grill came out not bad and also the taste was good.

I am really proud, I did it.
