It was mom skirt

อาสานกจะดัดแปลงกระโปรงแม่ให้นกใส่ได้ตั้งแต่สงกรานต์โน่นแนะ ไม่ได้ทำซะที เอาผ้ากองไว้ซะงั้น ตังแต่ทำงาน หาเวลาเต็มๆ ไม่ได้เลย เพราะถ้าเย็บผ้าก็ต้องทั้งวัน ขนาดจับกระเป๋ามาเย็บต่อยังไม่เสร็จ แถมมีผ้าที่ตัดไว้จะมาเย็บอีกที จำไม่ได้ว่าตัวเองออกแบบอะไรไว้ เอาล่ะเย็บกระโปรงนกให้เสร็จซะวันนี้ล่ะ ผ้าก็รื้อไว้เรียบร้อยแล้วตั้งนาน กระโปรงทำเป็นแบบพัน ใส่ได้ 2 ด้าน

- ตัดชายทำย้วยๆ ให้หวานเหมาะกะคนใส่
-เมื่อได้ชายแล้ว เย็บริมผ้าให้เรียบร้อยสวยงาม และเย็บด้านบน 1 เส้นดึงให้ระบายย้วยๆ ระวังตอนดึงอย่าให้ด้ายขาดเชียวเพราะต้องเย็บกันใหม่ เหลือด้านบนไว้ประมาณ 1 นิ้ว
-เสร็จแล้วเอามาวางกับผ้าชิ้นตัว ตัดให้ได้ขนาดเท่ากัน แล้วเย็บต่อกันเป็นชิ้นเดียว แนวเย็บเดียวกับชิ้นระบายที่เย็บไว้ตอนดึง
-เมื่อต่อแล้ว จะมีส่วนที่เผื่อไว้ 1 นิ้วชิ้นระบายให้พับริมลงเล็กน้อย เย็บให้เรียบร้อยสวยงาม หรือจะเลือกลายเย็บจากจักรก็ได้ สวยไปอีกแบบ ลายจะเห็นทั้ง 2 ด้าน
-แล้วก็เย็บริมผ้า 2 ด้าน พับคนละด้านเพื่อเวลาพันดัานใด ก็เอาด้านพับเย็บไว้ด้านใน ด้านนอกจะไม่เห็นรอยพับ
-ทำผ้าผุกเอวเวลาใส่จะได้ไม่หลุด เพราะไม่มีตะขอเกี่ยวกระโปรงตัวนี้ เย็บผ้ากว้าง 2 นิ้ว ยาวรอบตัวเรา พอผุกได้ พับทบ เย็บ เหลือช่องสำหรับกลับด้านในออกนอกแล้วเย็บ โดยรอบอีกครั้งเพื่อความเรียบและสวยงาม
-กุ๊นขอบกระโปรงด้วยผ้าสีคนละสีกับกระโปรงเวลาใส่พับทบลงมาเก๋ไปอีกแบบ

My cousin 'Nok' is very small. She took her mom skirt here and wanted to wear when go to the temple but it was too big . I offerred to make it fit her.

After a month, yesterday I stay home so had time to do it. I design what I wanted it to be but I had no idea how to do. Anyway, start doing better than just thinking.

I made wrap around skirt can wear both sides.

@ I apart mom skirt into 2 pieces
@ cut a piece 1/4 from big piece to make the edge of skirt
@ zigzag at the edge for neat and nice
@ sew a straight line on the top of a piece the edge of skirt . Leave about 1 inch.
@ pull the thread 2 side for make aslant ,but becareful do not break the thread
@ when get the size the edge of skirt piece , put it on a piece of skirt body and cut the part over
@ sew the edge of skirt together with the body piece at the sewin line on the edge of skirt
@ on the top of the edge we left about 1 inch before sew the line ,fold that part and sew with nice and neat or you can select one style on your machine .

Now you will have 2 level aslant one side and other side plain

@ make a tie for waist when you wear this skirt, by cut a piece of fabric long about around your waist and easy tie , wide 2 inches.
@ fold half and sew in around, but skip a little for take inside out.

I will skip between body of belt because it looks neater than skip the end

@ when take inside out sew around for neat and strong

@hem waist area of skirt with different color fabric, so when you wear and tie put it down will look cute
