1 กรกฎาคม 2554...วันที่สอง

หลังจากเติมพลังกันแล้วมุ่งหน้าเดินกันไปที่น้ำตกฯ ซื้อบัตรผ่านประตูแบบชุดผ่านเข้าได้ 6 จุดราคา 33 ดอลล่าร์ เมื่อมีตั๋วอยู่แล้วไม่ต้องเสียเวลายืนรอซื้อในแถว สามารถผ่านเข้าได้เลย 

1st July 2011... Second day

After we filled our tummies full then we walked to Niagara falls. We bought a full package tickets for three of us. The tickets for 6 points pass  cost $33 and the good thing was no need to wait on the line just pass into right away.

Infact I did not stand in the ticket line just my Mister but I wanted to have the photos so I pretend...LOL

A guide with Indian tourist group

1. ลงเรือเข้าไปสัมผัสละอองน้ำตกใกล้ๆ เรียกว่า เมดออฟเดอะมิสต์ (เมดนี้ไม่แน่ใจว่าหมายถึงอะไรในความหมายนี้ แต่เดอะมิสต์ หมายถึงหมอก คงเพราะเข้าไปใกล้น้ำตกแล้วเหมือนหมอกเพราะกระแสน้ำหนา/แรงมาก) ต้องใส่เสื้อกันฝนด้วย มิสเตอร์ชี้ไปที่กล่องเสื้อกันเปียกให้ดูว่าผลิตที่ไทยมีเขียนบอกข้างกล่อง

บรรยากาศในเรือ ดูในคลิปวิดิโอได้เลยนะค่ะ เรือไม่ได้เข้าไปใกล้น้ำตก แต่เรารู้สึกถึงความแรงของน้ำตก เหมือนฝนตกหนักนี่เอง สงสารมิสเตอร์ไม่สนุกเพราะก่อนมาทาสเปรย์กันแดดที่หน้า (โอ้ทห้ามไม่ทัน) น้ำโดนหน้าทำให้สเปรย์ไหลเข้าตา แสบร้อน

1.First , we took "Maid of the Mist " to feel the falls closer. Everyone must wear rain jacket. Mister pointed to the boxes that said "Made in Thailand" from my country.

The boat headed to the falls I was excited. When the boat close to the falls can feel water so strong same as heavy rain. Poor Mister, he did not enjoy because of sun protection spray which he put on his face got into his eyes with water. Burn his eyes.... :-(

2. ขี้นจากเรือ ยังไม่คืนเสื้อกันฝน เดินไปฝั่งตรงข้ามกับท่าเรือ มีบันไดทางเดินขึ้นไปใกล้ยอดน้ำตก ได้รับละอองน้ำตกอีกด้าน คนเยอะจริงๆๆ น้ำก็แรง งานนี้ถ้าไม่ได้กล้องกันน้ำคงไม่ได้ บรรยากาศมาฝากกันแน่ๆๆ  วันนั้นแดดจัด ประกอบกับ ละอองน้ำตกแรงมาก ทำให้เกิดรุ้งกินน้ำ หลายสายทีเดียว เห็นแล้วก็อดตื่นเต้นไม่ได้ เมื่อถ่ายรูปพอใจแล้ว (จริงๆอยากอยู่ถ่ายต่อแต่คนเยอะมาก ประกอบกับมิสเตอร์คงจะเริ่มเบื่อเพราะคนเยอะนี่แหละ) เราสามคนเดินลง เอาเสื้อกันฝนใส่ถัง(คืน)ที่จัดเตรียมไว้ แต่ใครต้องการเก็บก็ได้

2. After got off the boat we did not return rain jackets yet (I heard people call poncho) . We walked to the opposite of the pier. There were stairs through to top of the falls. There were many people walked up and down , sometimes traffic jam...LOL.

On that time the sun was strong combined with strong water mist that made rainbow show up...

WOW! amazed. I wanted to stay up there longer for taking more photos but too many people so decided to walk back down. We return ponchos in the cans provided in that area and headed to the next point.

3. พากันเดินกลับไปด้านหน้า รอรถราง ไปเข้าถ้ำ ก็ชื่อเรียกว่า เคฟออฟเดอะวิน (เคฟ cave แปลว่าถ้ำ โอ้ทก็คิดว่าต้องเป็นถ้ำที่มุดเข้าไปนะสิ) แต่เมื่อไปถึงที่ ไม่ใช่อย่างที่คิด จุดนี้ต้องใส่เสื้อกันฝนกันอีก และได้รองเท้ามาให้เปลี่ยนด้วย โอ้ทคิดว่าคงจะลื่นนะ เลยให้ใส่รองเท้าที่จัดไว้ เมื่อแต่งองค์กันเสร็จมุ่งหน้าเดินไปตามป้ายบอกทาง คนแถวยาวเหยียดอีก เอาละจะได้เข้าถ้ากันแล้ว แต่ปรากฎว่ามีเป็นทางอุโมงค์นิดเดียว ออกมาเป็นทางเดิน และต่อไปถึงระเบียง เดินขึ้นไปสัมผัสความแรงของน้ำตกอีกจุด โอโห! แรงมากจริงๆๆ เสื้อกันฝนเอาไม่อยู่ แต่ก็ยังไม่เข้าใจว่าทำไมเรืยกเคฟออฟเดอะวิน  จุดนี้เสียดายที่ถ่ายรูปสวยๆๆมาไม่ได้เนื่องจากความแรงของน้ำที่ไหลลงมา แรงจนบังเลนส์ตลอดเวลามองอะไรไม่เห็นเลย  เดินกลับออกมา ทั้ง ดร คนสวยคนสวย ทั้งมิสเตอร์เปียกซก แต่โอ้ทไม่เปียก ฮ่าฮ่า เพราะผูกไว้อย่างดี

3. We walked back out to the park waiting for the tram took us to Cave of the wind. When I heard the name I thought about regular cave but in fact not look the same at all. I do not know why call "Cave of the wind". It was the deck.

We walked up to the top which the water falls down so strong which I could feel how strong of the water. If I did not have water prove camera no way to get any photos and it even hard to get good photos because water stuck on the lens all the time.

After we done from cave of the wind , Mister and Bim ( my friend) were get wet...haha. Bim said because her poncho did not tight enough then it felt off made her wet. I were still good.

4. จากเคฟออฟเดอะวิน เราเดินต่อไปที่ โกตไอซ์แลนด์ (goat แปลว่าแพะ ก็ไม่รู้ว่าทำไมตั้งชื่อนี้) มองเห็นวิวกว้าง สวยทีเดียว

4. After Cave of the wind we walked to Goat Island. I do not really know the history of it. It was a beautiful view.

5. ข้ามไปฝั่งแคนาดา มองจากฝั่งแคนาดามาจะเห็นน้ำตกสวยกว่า เพราะเห็นด้านหน้า  มิสเตอร์บอกจะพาไปหม่ำมื้อเที่ยงที่สกายทาวเวอร์ ฝั่งแคนาดา แต่ปรากฎว่าไม่ได้ไป เนื่องจาก ดร ของเราไม่มีวีซ่า เรารู้กันอยู่แล้วว่าไม่มีวีซ่าเข้าไม่ได้

การขอวีซ่าแคนาดาหรือประเทศอื่นของด๊อกเตอร์ ในสถานะภาพวีซ่านักเรียนอเมริกา มีขั้นตอนหลายอย่างและต้องใช้เวลาซึ่งไม่ทัน หากขอวีซ่าเผื่อเข้าไปเดินดูน้ำตกเท่านั้นไม่คุ้มค่าธรรมเนียม และเวลาที่ดำเนินการด้วย จีงไม่ได้ขอมา แต่เราคิดว่าอาจมีกรณีพิเศษสำหรับนักท่องเที่ยวเข้ามชมน้ำตกเท่านั่น แต่ไม่มีตามที่เราคิด มิสเตอร์บอกว่ากลับกันทั้งหมดดีกว่า จะได้ไม่ยุ่งยาก โอ้ทถือกรีนการ์ด ประกอบกับพาสปอร์ตไทยไม่มีปัญหา ก่อนมาคิดว่าอาจเข้าไม่ได้เพราะพาสปอร์ตจะหมดอายุอีกเพียงวันเดียว

5. We crossed to Canada to see the water  falls from that side because more beautiful as could see the front of the falls. Mister told us we were going to have lunch on Sky Deck but we must return back to the USA because our friend she did not have a Canada Visa as she hold USA student Visa.  In fact, we aware about that stuff but if would be long processing for her to applied and took long time so we just tried if Canada had special rule/visa pass just for tourists to see water falls. I did not have any problem as I hold a green card (Permanent resident card) and showed with my Thai passport. I a bit worried if I could not pass because on that day my passport only one day before expired.

เมื่อเข้าไม่ได้ก็หันหลังกลับ โอ้ทคุยกับด๊อกเตอร์ เล่นๆ ว่าไม่ใช่เข้าแคนาดาก็ไม่ได้ กลับเข้าอเมริกาก็ไม่ได้ล่ะก็ได้นอนกันกลางสะพานเลย แต่ ดร มีเอกสารสถานะภาพนักเรียนอเมริกาครบ ผ่านได้ไม่มีปัญหา

I teased my friend "What if you could not get in Canada and also could not get back to the USA?" we must sleep in the middle of the bridge here.

6. เมื่อเข้าแคนาดาไม่ได้ สมาชิกหิวกันแล้ว กลับไปหม่ำ ทีจีไอเสต๊กที่โรงแรมกันดีกว่า

6.When we could not get into Canada so we headed back to the hotel, had lunch at TGI steak and relax.



เมื่อท้องอิ่ม กลับห้อง สองสาวไปว่ายน้ำ มิสเตอร์พักผ่อน ดูทีวีในห้อง โรงแรมทีนี่ไม่มีตู้เย็น ยังดีมีตู้น้ำแข็งบริการหยอดเหรียญ ต้องทำแบบนี้จ้า (มิสเตอร์จัดการ) เอาเครื่องดื่มกระป๋อง กับ ชอคโกแลตแช่ไว้

Mister stayed rest in the room while my friend and I went to the pool. In our room did not have a refrigerator so Mister got ice and put soda cans in the bucket .



ดร เสียบบัตรห้องเพื่อเปิดประตูสระว่ายน้ำ ก่อนหน้าพยายามเปิดประตูไม่ได้ มองไปรอบๆ อ่อ ต้องเสียบบัตรห้องด้วย สองคนเปิ่นเป็นบ้านนอกเลย ก็ไม่เคยนี่เน่อะ

It was funny when we could not open the pool door because I had not seen any hotel I stayed before had to insert key card for open the pool, by the way we figure it out.

แล้วตอนออก ดันประตูกันอีก ประตูไม่เปิดอีก...ขำตัวเอง ซื่อบื่อมากๆๆอีกแล้ว (ก็ไม่เคยแบบนี้) มีปุ่มให้กดเปิดประตูอยู่ด้านข้างอีก ไม่มองซะก่อน

Again, went we done swimming and could not open the door. We were laughing to each other . We were silly. We kept look around and found there were push button beside the door.

7.กลางคืนบริเวณน้ำตกฯ จุดพลุด้วย ทุกวันศุกร์ พนักงานสระว่ายน้ำโรงแรมแนะนำให้ขึ้นไปดูบนดาดฟ้าตึกจอดรถใกล้ๆๆ พากันเดินดุ่มๆๆไป มีแขกคนอื่นด้วย เราเดินตามๆกันไป หากันจนเจอ เมื่อไปถึงดาดฟ้ากลัวประตูล๊อกจากด้านใน ด้านนอกเปิดไม่ได้อย่างในหนัง (ดูหนังมากขึ้นสมอง) จัดแจงเอาหินที่วางอยู่หน้าประตูพอดิบพอดีกันประตูไว้ คนที่มาด้วย (แต่ไม่รู้จักกัน) สงสัย เลยบอกเหตผลเขาไป เขาว่า ดีเหมือนกัน ปลอดภัยไว้ก่อน

7. There were fire works at night in the falls area but we did not go in the park earlier because a pool hotel staff suggested us to go up on the top of a building around here. There could see fire works better. When we were on the top of a building I took a  brick between the door to made sure the door did not lock us. I watched too much movies about that...ha-ha.

After fire works we walked to the falls to see light night. So beautiful.

วันนี้สนุกมาก คิดถึงพ่อ แม่ และ น้อง ๆ อยากให้มาเห็นด้วยกัน

Today was a great day, really enjoyed. I thought of my family, it would be nice if they see the great Niagara falls same like me.
